the Italian Language, Magda, and money pouches.
Italian class was a doozy today. Magda kept calling on me to answer questions….the pressure was on. I think she likes saying my name because it sounds kind of Italian…she says Feeeeeenleeeeeeey. Magda taught me what the words on the expresso machine meant…very helpful. Today I got an expresso senza zucherro…without sugar; it was an experience.
My money pouch has become very conveinent. I actually love it. Its a little touristy but I hide it underneath my parka when ever I’m going out on the town…so I still appear Euro.
My lovely non-Euro handy pouch.
Plans change very quickly around here. Instead of going hiking on Saturday, me and Laura joined another group of peeps to get a headstart in Milan….Julian our hot house daddy said the night scene there was ridiculous…and we also figured we’d get a head start with buying our jerseys and/or painting our faces to be
- Friday after class we go to Bellenzona to view the castles from the 1400′s.
- Saturday me and Laura are hopin the train to Milan
- Sunday we go to Milan to be futbol fans who purchase jerseys and get wild before witnessing David Beckham school people.
Finding hostels for the first break is soooo hard and time consuming. I guess we have 12 people in our group for when we go to Paris, Dublin, London and Venice. Good thing we have a bunch of type A personalities in our group…
I went to Migros again today to buy some mustard, peanut butter, yogurt and pretzels…I love that place.
I’m now on my way to visit Peter Pan’s Bar again……wonder what will happen tonight?
Here’s to the nights we felt alive!
