Riding dirty in the land of RICOLA…
Alright so here goes….i can never seem to keep up with the blogosphere…i started this blog after i got back from Interlaken and was supposed to finish it but it is now a week since then and i have already been to amsterdam and back. so i figure ill tell a little about Interlaken and then move on to AMSTADAMNNNNNNNNNNNI
Friday started out like any old Friday, I passed my Italian quiz and made conversation with Magda…I learned that one of the reasons Magda gives us 3 different breaks during class is so she can have a smoke outside with the other Euros…I learned how to say where’s the bathroom…Dove il bajno? which is a lifesaver for me.
Unfortunately my afternoon activities consisted of finishing my midterm paper on creating a marketing plan to help decrease the rate of unintended pregnancies in the United States…wonderful
My afternoon rounded off with snuggling with Laura and Meghan as we watched the movie 300….
then it was firdizzle nightizzle…this was a big big doozy
some of us girls went out to dinner to this place called Cantatone which was AMAZING and we got back to home to a bunch of drunken Americans who were a bit frazzeled. To make this a short story, the catostrophe was over a lost purse, one which was found in this boys suitcase when we finally got back from interlaken on sunday- who would ever guess…
INTERLAKEN
Interlaken was sooo amazing…night sleding was ridiculous…it was so fast and there were no lights! we wore these necklaces with little blinking lights on them soo everyone could kinda see everyone…sometimes i would get really nervous because all of a sudden i would be speeding down the hill uncontrollably and cause major traffic jamz…but it was more fun that way.

moving on to after sleding…we had dinner and went back to the hostel which had a wild discoteca in the basement..local Euroz everywhere…so much fun! Its kinda funny becasue the way that the people dance in Europe is so different than the way they pop it in the US…so after a few minutes of watching, we caught on…
bedtime was roughly 4 AM…once again me and LAURA and KYLE and i think that was it (i can’t remember that far back) headed back to our bunk bedz to sleep for roughly 5 hours.
ON sunday…we went to the world snow competition in Grindelwald which was really neat!
